9 am Welcome to Paradise

For the second day of the trip, head off to paradise to Mu Koh Ang Thong at the Ang Thong National Marine Park, an archipelago of 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand with white-sand beaches, rich jungles, mountains and hidden coves to discover. Only 28 kilometres from Samui, there are boat tours available daily or opt for a luxury speed boat that gets there faster and provides more privacy. The list of things you can do in the archipelago goes a long way including snorkelling, diving, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking or just chilling on a beach and sunbathing in a serene environment. The first thing to notice once entering the national park area is the fertile mangrove and the bright coral reefs beneath the turquoise waters. There is wildlife on the land, like long-tailed monkeys and little herons as well as exotic marine life as well. With the completely formed coral reefs and preserved pristine landscapes, this is a top destination for international divers, as well as those who want to snorkel and SCUBA. The highlight of the marine park is Koh Mae, an island with a sea water lagoon that is as blue as a painting and a stairway you can climb up the mountain to enjoy the gorgeous glistening view of the whole area.

4 pm Going Out with a Blast

Round off your getaway with a bang by catching a boat ride to Koh Pha Ngan, the birth place of the world-famous Full Moon party. Just a 30-minute ferry ride and you will be transported to Thong Sala Pier. While the island is known as the ultimate party destination, as massive crowds descend to Hat Rin beach for a night to remember, it has more to offer and also is perfect for non-party lovers. The Hat Thong Nai Pan Noi has become an upscale area with a calmer atmosphere and fancy resorts. You can enjoy half a day on the beach to rejuvenate your energy before hitting the town. After all, we are already on the island, why not make the most of it.
